Halloween Cupcake Stands!

In October I am throwing a huge Halloween party and I needed some cute cupcake stands.  I have seen lots of cute stands where people have taken cute candle stick holders and little plates of varying sizes, glued them together and painted them all sorts of colors.  And I wanted to try it out so here are my cupcake stands!

Here are my candle holders pre-paint!

 And here is the plate I chose to go on top!

 I was going to glue first and paint second but if I was going to paint them two different colors I needed to do them separate. So here is it assembled but not painted.

 Here is the plate all nice and painted!

 This candle stick holder is a little taller than the others.

 These are what the rest of the bases looked like after I painted them.

 And here is the finished product!! All glued together and gorgeous if I do say so myself!
